Kirito saves Asuna

Kirito POV
It had been four years since I saved her from ALO. That night I laid in my bed thinking about Asuna.
Flashback
Asuna and I were eating lunch on a bench in the courtyard of the school. When Lisbeth came over and pushed Asuna off the bench and sat next to me. Asuna had landed on her knees and scraped them up pretty bad. So being the good boyfriend I am I pushed Lisbeth away and said “Asuna are you alright? Here let me help you up and take you to the nurse.” After I helped Asuna up, Lisbeth opened up her mouth to say something but I shot her a look and snapped “stay away from us!”
Flashback over
I woke up around 1:00pm, I think its Saturday, but I’m too tired to think so I don’t know. I went downstairs to eat lunch and there was a note on the counter. It said, Kirito, I went to the store to pick some things up, be home soon. Suguha. I put down the note and opened the fridge and we had no food, “so that’s why she went to the store” just then I heard a knock at my door, I hadn’t had time to change so my hair was messed up and I was still in my pj’s. I went over to the door, opened it to find Asuna standing there holding a basket. She was wearing a nice white dress with her hair style from SAO and smelled like roses, she looked beautiful “Nice hairdo” she said and chuckled. I said “let me guess you want to go on a picnic with me?” “No, I’m only standing here with a basket to look pretty; of course I want to go on a picnic.” Asuna replied. “Alright, hold on let me go change, come on in.” I went upstairs, changed, and came back down to find Agil and Tsuboi sitting on the couch next to Asuna. “Hey Kirito, long time no see” Agil said. “So, does Asuna live with you yet?” Tsuboi asked. My face turned red. Asuna said “not yet, it’s only been four years, you know I guess that’s still a short period of time for Kirito” just then there was a blinding light and a high pitched whine. When the noise ended and we stopped seeing stars Asuna was gone! “What the hell was that?” Tsuboi asked. “A flash bang grenade” Agil replied. “Where the hell do you get a flash bang grenade?” Tsuboi asked. “I don’t know but they must have sources. Or bought it, you know” Agil replied.  “Whoever it was they kidnapped Asuna, and when I find them I’m going to kill them!” Kirito stated. “How do you know it was a kidnapping? She could have run away or went to hide.” Tsuboi said. “It was a kidnapping because look. The basket and the food are on the floor, the table is knocked over, and a piece of her dress is stuck to the table.” Kirito said. “Come on guys, your coming with me to find her.”

Asuna POV
I think today is a good day to go on a picnic with Kirito. My knees still hurt from yesterday but I can ignore the pain. I started packing the basket when I got a phone call. I went over and answered the phone and all I heard was a voice say “I’m coming for you.” Then they hung up. I was a little concerned but Kirito’s house was only a few blocks away so I knew I would be safe. I got the basket packed and then I put on a white dress and perfume. I walked out the door and I was off to see the best boyfriend in the world. I’m still wondering when we’ll get our own house and move in together; it’s been four years now. I looked around and the street was unusually empty. It was a bit creepy but I was almost to Kirito’s house so I knew I was safe. I saw two figures in the distance walking towards me and I saw one of them point at me, I was starting to get scared. But then saw Kirito’s house and I jogged over to it and knocked, he answered within a few seconds but he was still in his pjs, and he had a bed head. He must have just woken up because there were bags under his eyes. “Nice hairdo” I said we had a short conversation and then he said “Alright, hold on let me go change, come on in.” I walked in, closed the door, and sat down on the couch. I heard a knock on the door and I got nervous again, so I didn’t answer it but then I felt relief as I heard “Hey Kirito you there?” and that voice came from Tsuboi. “Man shut up if he didn’t answer the door he’s probably still asleep or not here.” And that voice was from Agil. So I went over to the door and opened it. “Jeez Kirito, you’ve changed, ha ha ha I’m just messing with you. So where is Kirito?” Tsuboi asked. “He’ll be down soon. He went to go change. Come on in.” “So how are you?” Agil asked. “I’m good; I came over to see if Kirito wanted to go on a picnic with me.” “Ah, that seems like fun. We just came over to see how he’s doing and then go get you and kill some monsters or something in ALO. But since you want to go on a picnic we won’t interrupt.” Agil replied. Just then Kirito came down with his favorite jacket and some jeans, and a better hair style. “Hey Kirito, long time no see” Agil said. “So does Asuna live with you yet?” Tsuboi asked. I saw Kirito’s face turn red.  I said “not yet, it’s only been four years, you know I guess that’s still a short period of time for Kirito” just then I heard a window break and then a high pitched whine filled my ears and I couldn’t see anything, just then I felt a pair of hands grab me and try to pull me away. I tried to struggle but this person was stronger than me and picked me up and I was carried for about thirty seconds and I felt a blindfold being put on me and being thrown into what seemed like a car trunk and I heard the car start and I was being taken somewhere. I screamed “KIRITO! HELP ME” but to no avail. I was stuck in a trunk and with no possible help. I started to cry and I thought of Yui, and Kirito

Kirito POV
Agil, Tsuboi, and I went outside and saw tire tracks on the street. I then directed them to the dojo and we grabbed some kendo sticks and we followed the tire tracks direction. “We should call the police” Tsuboi said. “Well if we do what will we tell them? Hey we got blinded and couldn’t hear and my girlfriend was kidnapped, oh and we saw tire tracks. What help is that going to be?” I asked. “Well how are we supposed to follow them? They could be anywhere by now.” Tsuboi said. I thought about that, it’s true and then I remembered there was an abandoned warehouse two miles north of here. “Guys, you know that abandoned warehouse about two miles north of here? We can try there.” I said. “How do we know she’ll be there?” Tsuboi said. “Well it’s a longshot but it’s all I can think of right now” I said. “Alright but were going to need a car and if they are there we can go SAO style on them. HA! Agil can you go get your car?” Tsuboi asked. “Yea I’ll go get it.” Agil said

Asuna POV
The car stopped and I heard voices, two deep voiced men. Then they opened the trunk and pulled me out, and carried me a bit of ways. I then felt them put shackles around my wrists and I was slowly pulled up and then they put shackles on my ankles and then pulled down. When the blindfold was removed I saw a familiar face, it was Noboyuki! “I thought you were in prison?!” I asked with a scared tone. “I escaped; you should know a person like me has friends that can get me out.” Noboyuki replied. “And this time Kirito won’t be able to save you.” “You’re lying; he’ll come for me, he always does.” “Whatever you say, and if he does I’ll cut him up and feed him to the dogs, not to mention those two over there will beat him to a pulp, so he won’t be able to save you” he said. I started to get teary eyed.

Kirito’s POV
Agil brought up the car, and we got in and went towards the direction of the warehouse. About five minutes passed when the radio said “Attention, a prisoner has escaped, he is considered armed and dangerous. He has a scar on his right eye and is tall and has black hair. Do not approach if you see him, call the police and stay as far away from him as you can.” “Noboyuki!” I shouted. “Hurry! We have to get to that warehouse now!” “Look I want to save her as much as you do, but if I speed and the cops catch us it’ll take more time to find her because they’ll stop us and give me a ticket.” Agil replied. About five minutes later the warehouse came into view and there was a car parked in front of it. We came up to the car; the trunk was open and I went over to it and it smelled of grease and roses. “She was in here; she has to be inside!” I stated. “Alright get ready guys I’ll need you to watch my back.” “You got it Kirito!” Tsuboi said. And with that we went in.

The door opened with a loud squeak. “So much for the element of surprise.” I said. Just then these two big guys came around the corner. “Kirito, you go ahead, we got these guys.” Agil said “Alright thanks, good luck!” I replied. I rolled under the swinging arm of one of them and ran toward the opposite direction, I rounded the corner and I saw Asuna chained up. I started to run towards her when she yelled “KIRITO, WATCH OUT!” I turned around and ducked just in time to see a knife slash at where my face was. “Noboyuki.” I muttered. “Hello Kirito.” He ran towards me and I jumped out of the way a swung at his back with the kendo stick. I heard a loud slapping noise and he fell to the ground trying to clench his back. He got up slowly and said “lucky hit, now I’m going to kill you.” I swung at him again but he grabbed it and yanked it from my hand and then I felt a sharp pain wash over my cheek. I fell to the ground and he ran over and stabbed my thigh. I knew if I didn’t move he’d kill me so I kicked him in the chest with my good leg and I got up. It was hard to stand and the pain was getting worse by the second and then I saw him get up but he was gasping for air but he still charged at me. I moved to the left, and almost fell, put my other leg down to balance myself and I grabbed his wrist, and pulled his arm down as I brought my good knee up to meet his elbow. A loud crack echoed through the room and he yelped. His arm was bent the wrong way, bleeding, and the bone sticking out. He released the knife and I picked up the knife from the floor and stabbed it into his stomach. He doubled over and fell to the ground and he started to cry, and the keys to Asuna’s shackles fell out of his shirt pocket. I grabbed them and stumbled over to her, when I got closer I saw he had cut her arm. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad; I unlocked the shackles and caught her before she hit the ground. I held her close. I felt her arms wrap around me. She then started to cry. “I’ll never let you go I. I love you Asuna.” I told her as my eyes started to tear up “I love you too.” She replied just then I heard footsteps and saw Agil and Tsuboi come around the corner; they only had a few bruises it seemed like. Then Tsuboi came over and said “Jeez Kirito that looks bad. Agil call the paramedics.” “Watch Noboyuki, make sure he doesn’t get up.” I told him. About five minutes later we heard the sirens. Asuna was still holding onto me and still crying. I heard the door open and a police officer and the paramedics came in. the officer had his gun ready but put it away when he saw us. “What happened?” the officer asked. I told them and then they put me and Asuna into the ambulance.
4 weeks later
Kirito’s POV
It had been four weeks since that happened. I was up and around, my leg felt better but there was still pain. I was walking to Asuna’s house. The night before, I convinced myself to ask her. I bought a house and a ring about a week ago, the house secluded in the forest, next to a huge lake. I gave the address to Sugu, Agil, and Tsuboi. I was told that Noboyuki died from blood loss but there not accusing me of murder because it was self-defense. I was at her door before I knew it. I knocked. She opened it and again she looked beautiful, even though she was in her pj’s, her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She smiled and said “come on in.” We went over to the couch and sat down. “So, I wanted to know if you wanted to head over to Agil’s bar?” I asked. “Sure, let me get dressed.” She replied and she went upstairs. About five minutes later she came down. “You ready to go?” I asked. “Yup, let’s go.” We got onto our bikes and we went over to the bar. Sugu, Tsuboi, Silica, and Agil were already here. Good. We walked in and I took her to the small rise and took her up there. I looked at Agil and nodded; he smiled and dimmed the lights. I looked at Asuna and said “we’ve been together for four years now and they have been the best years of my life, sure we had arguments but we always got over them, and we have to take care of Yui, so I have a question for you.” I got down on one knee, and asked “Asuna, will you marry me?” Sugu, and Silica, didn’t know why they were there in the beginning because Tsuboi and Agil were the only people who were told. Agil told Sugu and Silica to come. I saw them smile. Asuna’s face turn red and her eyes started to tear up; she smiled and said “Yes, of course I will.” “I love you.” “I love you too.” We will spend the rest of our lives together. I was so happy and with that we kissed.
